The Karbon Kage™ is the ultimate lightweight bottle cage built to house those precious ounces of fuel you need to push yourself to the limit and beyond. When we set out to design the Karbon Kage ™ we wanted something bombproof yet beautiful, functional yet elegant. As riders and triathletes ourselves, we wanted a piece of carbon fiber sculpture which was also going to be strong enough to contain the beast that is 24 ounces of sloshing fluid that is more precious than gold to those in the saddle. The cage itself is sculpted like a set of bird wings - inspiration from our desire for speed and flight.

First, we wanted uni-directional carbon fiber finished in a matte black to complement our new Xtra Aero (XA) Wheel Series which is also finished in matte unidirectional carbon. Next, we had to find a shape that worked well with our new XR (Xtended Range) Hydration Systems. When we merged those two concepts, the Karbon Kage™ was born. What a spectacular birth indeed: lightweight carbon, aluminum price.
